Fall 2023

Things are looking pretty good for the rest of the year.

Monday night, August 7, I am hosting a jazz jam night at Village Well Books & Coffee, in Culver City. 7-9PM. Bring your axe. This might become a regular thing. Guitarist Robert Jacobson and drummer Jack Flynn are joining me as the house rhythm section. No cover.

Wednesday, August 23, will be the premiere of Jack Curtis Dubowsky’s score for Alfred Hitchcock’s early silent The Lodger, at the Art Theater in Long Beach. Tickets available now.

Saturday, September 2, we’re doing The Lodger again at the Million Dollar Theater in Downtown LA.

Friday, September 8, I’m playing duo with Anna Homler at O Salon.

Friday, September 15, The Soapbox is back at the Industry Cafe and Jazz in Culver City. Jazz and jazz-adjacent music. 6:30-9PM, no cover.

Saturday, September 16, MESTO at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica.

Thursday, September 28: Andrea Centazzo’s West Coast Art Ensemble at 2220 Arts & Archives.

Looking ahead, there are more gigs with the Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble, Anna Homler, and Andrea Centazzo, plus new seasons with the Vicente Chamber Orchestra, and the Santa Monica Symphony.

I’m also happy to present the Fall season of the Soundwaves concert series:
