Next week I will be in the Bay Area with Andrea Centazzo. We’ll be performing in three cities with two different groups featuring some great NorCal players. This will also be my first time playing Andrea’s written music: our trio with Charles Sharp has so far been all improvisation.
Will there ever be anything here besides plugs? Maybe…
March 10: Next (w/ Charles Sharp & Andrea Centazzo) at the Track 16 Gallery, Culver City. Free improvisation. 8PM. No cover, but reservations are advised.
March 13: Live score to “The Golem” (1920) at HM 157. My first time playing with the Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble. 9PM. $7 advance, $10 at the door.
March 14: Santa Monica Symphony at Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Beethoven Violin Concerto & Brahms First Symphony. 7:30. Free admission.
March 17: The Decisive Instant at Cal State Dominguez Hills Laser Recital Hall. 7:30. $5. Compositions for a large ensemble of improvisers.
